Alberton Primary School
Description:
This project comprised the refurbishment and additions to existing classroom buildings. This included double classroom spaces, new air-conditioning and new common areas that are able to open up for school performances. The school has an aboriginal education centre that was upgraded to include counselling facilities, a meeting room and administration area.
Funding also allowed for a free standing toilet block to be converted to house the school’s aquatic science project, upgrades to the after-hours school care building, new fenced and landscaped “outdoor learning” areas, paving and re-grassing.
