Adelaide Football Club Training Facility
Description:
The project involved the extension of the existing club training facility on the ground floor and the extension through and above of new training / corporate entertainment and educational areas. The first key milestone was to reinstate the existing building to allow players and staff to occupy the building for the 2009 season while Sarah continued construction of the new building above the existing.
Special features of this building include a mezzanine level entertaining area that overlooks the “Shed” or Integral Training Floor, a Crows Museum, Cafe, Replica Locker Room and Teaching Resource Area.
This project was awarded a Master Builders Excellence Award for Excellence in a Commercial / Industrial Building $10 Mil - $20 Mil; it was also awarded at state and national level for Professional Excellence in Building by the Australian Institute of Building.
