Dominican School, Semaphore
Description:
This project was the third stage of the school redevelopment, the first two of which were carried out within the previous 12 months by the Sarah Building Services team. This project was funded through the BER construction scheme and funds saw the erection of a new two-storey multi-purpose facility.
The ground floor level is a new hall area including a new servery kitchen and rubber sports floor, which will be used for assemblies, dance, drama and light sporting activities. The first floor comprises of two over sized classrooms with a timber truss raking roof and ceiling. The first floor has also been linked to the adjoining buildings via a new structural steel link.
